Edinson Cavani has been seen in a club shirt for the first time since joining Manchester United by posting a video on Twitter of himself running on a treadmill in full training gear.
Uruguayan striker Cavani made the move to United in a deadline day switch on Monday, joining on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old has been out of contract since he was released by PSG at the end of June.
But he appears to be back in training, from home for now, and even donned the club’s training gear for the workout.
Cavani’s short video of himself showed him running at a good pace on a treadmill inside presumably his new home.
The experienced frontman is expected to spend a few days getting back to full fitness, having missed out on a pre-season.
Cavani doesn’t have much choice either but do to it from home as he is currently self-isolating for 14 days.
That means he won’t make his debut is likely to be delayed, despite the international break.
United’s next match is a trip to Newcastle on 17 October, while they are on his former side PSG on 20 October in Paris.
Upon joining the club on Monday, Cavani said: "Manchester United is one of the greatest clubs in the world, so it is a real honour to be here," said Cavani. "I've worked really hard during the time off and I feel eager to compete and represent this incredible club.
"I have played in front of some of the most passionate supporters in football during my career and I know that it will be the same in Manchester.
"I cannot wait to experience the Old Trafford atmosphere, when it is safe for the fans to return.
"I look forward to continuing to write my little story inside the book of football and I know that's why my focus has to remain the same as always - work, work, work. I have had a conversation with the manager and this has increased my desire to wear this beautiful shirt."
