Edinburgh World Heritage is on the lookout for a Graveyards Engagement Officer, who will play a key role in bringing excitement to the city's historic burial sites - could it be you?
The job is part-time, over two days per week, which will be paid pro rata. The successful applicant will work across "five historic burial sites in the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh".
The role is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and will involve working with local community groups to, "deepen public understanding of, and engagement with, the Kirkyard".
The graveyard role also includes working with children "aged 11-16" to develop "creative learning activities" for the burial sites.
Once in the role, you will be reporting to the "Graveyards Project Manager" and will work together to "deliver a programme of creative activities" in order to boost graveyard engament.
Edinburgh World Heritage is ideally looking for someone with a degree in "arts, design or heritage subject" who is also a creative thinker.
