A passenger on a number eight Lothian bus has spoken of how her face and hair was covered in glass after a bunch of youth yobs threw a large rock through the vehicle's window.
The incident, which is understood to have taken place at around 7:30pm on Moredun Park Road, left one woman shaken and in tears as shards of glass rained down on her.
In images shared with Edinburgh Live, a large hole can be seen in a passenger window, with broken glass littered across the seat and floor.

Jem Brannigan, from Moredun, said that the bus was passing Lindsay and Gilmour when the group of teens decided to attack the bus.
She said: “I’m shaking and have glass on my clothes and in my hair. It happened when the bus was driving past the pharmacy on Moredun Park Road.
“The perpetrators were standing outside of Lindsay and Gilmour with their hoods up and their faces covered. To be honest I am crying and in shock.
“I can’t believe some idiot group of teen boys just threw the rock at the bus window. The woman sitting across from the window they hit was covered in glass.
“This has not been good for my PTSD. We had a group of youths setting fires in our block of flats during Covid-19 and I wonder if it is the same group.
“The poor bus driver was devastated, my face was hit by four shards of glass. This is why I want to leave Moredun.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7:25pm on Monday October 31 2022, a report was made to police of vandalism to a bus on Moredun Park Road, Edinburgh.
“No injuries have been reported and enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
Lothian buses have been contacted for comment.
