Edinburgh woman shaken after group of boys 'break into back garden' after fight

An Edinburgh woman was left shaken after a group of boys broke into her back garden after fighting with another group of youths near her home.

In the post she uploaded onto a popular neighbour community app, she said: "Anyone recognise this group? Ran through our garden today...Not sure if any of our tools were stolen.

"We have a video of them. Recognise them?"

In the photo, the group of four boys were seen running through the back garden in Howard Place, with a box of Kopparberg in hand as they exited out the side gate of the home.

On the app, someone replied saying: "I believe that they are baseball players chasing a ball that had been hit over the wall from the playing fields, the workmen may have found one in your garden the next day."

Disarming these claims, the homeowner replied stating: "Sadly they weren't as they were carrying beer and got into a fight with another group of youths.

"The video captured all the yelling and swearing."

She told Edinburgh Live: "This was not baseball related. The kids had beer and there was a lot of swearing in the video and it looks like they had taken the beer from the people chasing them."
