Edinburgh woman reported missing as local police launch appeal for information

Concerns for a missing Edinburgh woman are growing after she went missing on August 23, and hasn't been seen since.

Police have launched an appeal into the whereabouts of Emily Owens, who was last seen in the Little France area of Edinburgh on Monday, August 23.

Emily is described as being five feet and two inches tall, with long black hair. Her clothing when she went missing is unknown.

In a statement, Edinburgh Police have said: "We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace a 27-year-old woman reported missing in Edinburgh.

"Emily Owens was last seen in the Little France area of Edinburgh on Monday 23rd August 2021 and there are concerns for her welfare.

"Emily is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall with long black hair.

"Anyone who may have seen Emily since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1028 11/10/2021."
