Edinburgh wife issues frantic plea for help finding her missing husband

An Edinburgh wife has issued a frantic plea for help finding her missing husband.

Brian Garrity has not been seen since since 9.30am on Monday morning, and his family are growing increasingly concerned.

The family have taken to social media to try to to gather as much information as they can on his whereabouts.

Ann Garrity, Brian's wife, told Edinburgh Live anyone with information on Brian’s whereabouts should contact the police on 101 citing 3811 as the incident number.

She said that the last sighting of Brian was by a bus driver on Crewe Road at 9.30am on Monday morning - he was believed to be heading north towards town.

He was understood to be wearing a black Lyle and Scott rain jacket, blue Nike joggers and blue Adidas trainers with yellow stripes and a yellow heel.

It is believed that his phone has been off since around that time and that there have been no further reported sightings.

On a social media post Ann asks: “Can everyone please share this post so we can get him home. Any news you can contact myself or Police Scotland on 101 with the incident number 3811. Thank you.”
