It has been a mixed bag on the weather front throughout January across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
But things are looking quite pleasant over the weekend as we head into the closing days of January. Good news for anyone looking to get out and about and make plans across the capital on Friday evening and into Saturday and Sunday.
Conditions will be largely bright throughout the weekend, with light showers drying up and temperatures as high as double figures. Friday has been dry so far, with cloudy but bright skies across the capital. And the somewhat settled conditions are expected to continue into the evening. Some patches of light rain are likely but nothing too heavy, with light winds throughout the night.
