Temperatures will remain at 6°C throughout most of the day but weather forecasters predict it will 'feel like 3°C', causing Edinburgh locals to enjoy a crisp winter's day.
Looking across the weekend and to Monday, the Met Office do warn of some light showers on Sunday.
They say: "Mainly dry on Saturday, light winds, variable cloud, perhaps some sun. Sunday will be windy, mainly dry, bright but a few light showers. Monday dry with sunny spells."
