Edinburgh might have a foggy start to the day on Wednesday after another cold night.
The misty conditions should clear later in the morning so commutes may not be affected.
Rain is expected to hit the capital around 6pm, though we should enjoy a dry day before this. Temperatures will feel around freezing in the afternoon.
The Met Office says: "Fog patches clearing by the end of the morning. Otherwise a dry day with some some sunshine.
"Freshening southeasterly winds will bring rain northwards through the evening."
