It felt like the clouds could open at any moment yesterday, with overcast skies hanging around over Edinburgh most of the day.
Today may feel much the same, with the clouds not looking like they're shifting anytime soon.
The rain will be non-stop according to forecasters, who say there is the possibility of showers from as soon as we wake up and hit the road for the morning commute, until after we go to bed.
But the rain showers are to say light, which hopefully means no torrential downpours in Edinburgh.
Despite the rain, the temperature is set to reach mild highs of 15C by around the 12pm and there will only be a light breeze.
So it looks like another day to pack your raincoats and umbrellas folks.
