Just when we thought any hope of snow had diminished, the Met Office have announced that Edinburgh could be turned white on Monday.
There's already yellow weather warnings in place this weekend for Storm Ciara and now forecasters have warned of snow and winds next week, which also covers parts of the Lothians.
Despite a previous forecast for snow at the end of January, the capital is yet to experience so much as a light dusting.
But, according to the weather experts, this could be it, with wind and snow from the early hours of Monday morning until around lunchtime on Tuesday afternoon.
The temperature is set to drop from highs of 10C on Sunday to a rather chilly two degrees by Monday, before the mercury rises again.

The Met Office app says: "Heavy snow and strong winds will combine to lead to disruption to travel, especially over higher routes."
Locals are being warned of travel disruption, with the possibility of stranded vehicles and passengers, as well as delayed rail and air services.
There is also likely to be delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes. Last month, two lorries overturned a blocked the A1 in high winds.
