Edinburgh is set to be battered with heavy rain this week as north Scotland has been issued a yellow weather warning.
A flood warning has been given Strath Oykel in the North of Scotland and a yellow weather warning for snow has been issued by the Met Office for the Highlands and North East of Scotland from Tuesday April 6 from 4pm to 11am on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Edinburgh will be lashed with heavy rain on Tuesday from 8am as temperatures sit at 4C throughout the morning.

The Met Office forecast: "Cloudy with some patchy rain in the morning. Rain becoming persistent and more widespread in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 8°C."
And as temperatures drop to just 3C by 10pm on Wednesday, the Met Office reports: "Mainly dry start on Wednesday, rain and hill snow spreading south later. Mainly dry, cold and bright on Thursday and Friday, just the odd wintry shower."

Exact time rain to hit Edinburgh
The Met Office forecasts Tuesday morning to start with drizzle with heavy rain to lash down as early as 8am.
Temperatures will sit at 4C but they warn it will feel like 2C, adding a sharp chill into the air.
The rain is expected to continue throughout the entire day, easing slightly by 12pm just for an hour before it picks up again.
The rain isn't predicted to ease much through the night but Wednesday looks like it will have some dry spells with wintry showers on the hills.
