Edinburgh weather forecast for Tuesday, 4 June: A mostly cloudy day with light rain showers

Good morning Edinburgh, after a dreich and dark day yesterday the city is waking up to a bright start today.

However from around 8am this morning the clouds will begin to roll in over the capital.

The temperature during the morning commute will be around a mild 11 degrees and the weather will stay dry.

We can expect highs of 14C today but it will feel around one or two degrees colder.

You will need to pack your umbrellas because rain is expected from around midday, which is set to last the rest of the day.
