It's been a long time since people across Edinburgh have been able to enjoy a Saturday afternoon pint with pals.
As soon as Nicola Sturgeon announced that April 26 would signal the easing of lockdown, and reopening of hospitality, many began making plans to catch up with much-missed friends and family in some of the city's most popular spots.
A number of outdoor venues were fully booked weeks in advance. with revellers hoping the weather stays nice, or at least dry, for their eagerly-anticipated beer garden visit.
So how do things look this weekend? We've taken a look at the Met Office forecast and given you a run-down of what to expect across Saturday and Sunday.
Edinburgh weather forecast on Saturday
Well, the good news is things should stay dry for much of the day.
Clouds are expected for much of the afternoon, with very little sunshine breaking through, but there's just a ten per cent chance of rain, according to the Met Office.
Don't expect to be basking in an early-May heatwave though. Temperatures are likely to hover around 7C or 8C for the most part.
Edinburgh weather forecast on Sunday
Sunday may see some rain in spells, but it isn't expected to be too heavy.
Sunshine and cloud is expected first thing, with some bright weather conditions in the morning. Things may cloud over around midday, and there's a 30 per cent chance of showers around 2pm. These shouldn't last long though, and we should be back to dry conditions by 3pm.
Further showers are then expected around 7pm and 8pm, so it might be worth taking your waterproofs if venturing out and about.
Temperatures are set to be around 8C or 9C for much of the day.
