People in Edinburgh have had a grey weekend and woken up to an overcast Monday.
But the weather is set to take a turn for the better, according to forecasters.
This morning clouds are hanging over the capital with temperatures at around 6C, however it feels around four degrees colder.
Moving into the afternoon, the weather is expected to brighten up with some afternoon sunshine breaking through the clouds.
Temperatures will reach highs of 9C by around 2pm but will feel more like six degrees.
Met Office reports the pollen count is low in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.
