Things are looking up for the weekend, as today (Friday 11 October) is set to be a lot less wet and miserable than Thursday.
The Met Office have updated their forecast to a wee picture of a sun poking from behind the clouds - always a good sign - and say we can expect:
"A mainly dry day with some bright or sunny spells and just a few showers. Winds will strengthen in the afternoon, particularly through the central belt. Maximum temperature 15 °C."
Saturday will be quite nice too, before the weather turns wet again on Sunday. Well, it is October I suppose.
