Meteorologists over at the Met Office have confirmed that this week will be scorching for the capital, with sunny skies and only a few scattered showers across the next few days, bringing us all back into the summer mood.
Tomorrow is set to be 'dry with extensive warm sunshine developing', and this shall continue on until Friday where the rain will appear back on our shores.

Today's forecast
A mainly dry and cloudy day, though thicker cloud across Dumfries and Galloway will produce a little drizzle over the hills.
Some bright spells over East Lothian and the Borders, perhaps more widespread by evening. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Tonight's forecast
Cloud will break up further to allow some long clear periods across the Lothians and Borders, but low cloud, mist and fog will form over Dumfries and Galloway. Minimum temperature 13 °C.
Tomorrow's forecast
Cloudy, damp start to Tuesday then dry with warm sunshine extending to all parts.
Dry, sunny and very warm on Wednesday then cloudier with scattered heavy showers on Thursday. Maximum temperature 25 °C.
So Tuesday at around 11am is the exact timing when the heatwave will kick in around the capital, as it will hit 22°C by then, and will reach a peak of 25°C at 3pm in the afternoon.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday
Wednesday looks to be fine and dry for most with plenty of sunshine, but the odd spot of rain cannot be ruled out for the west and far north later.
Thursday looks to become rather unsettled with outbreaks of rain likely throughout.
Friday should be a somewhat drier day with some sunny spells, but a few scattered showers or spells of rain remain likely.
