The BBC Weather forecast has seemingly confirmed the exact date that Edinburgh will enter into a July heatwave.
From July 13 onwards, warmer temperatures and clear skies is set to hit the capital, replacing the flash flooding we've seen at the end of June.
The end of June saw torrential downpours continue on into July, with floods submerging lots of Edinburgh bars, restaurants and shops.
But, the second half of July promises to be better, with temperatures set to skyrocket next week.
Forecasters at the BBC have predicted that temperatures of 20°C, and blue, sunny skies are to be expected in the capital by Tuesday next week.

The early forecasts follow speculation that the nation could be poised for clear skies and stifling heat this month.
On Tuesday 13 July, temperatures will reach 18°C before midday, with mostly clear skies and only a 20% chance of rain across the afternoon.
Drier and warmer weather will then develop during the week, with highs of 20°C and lows of 11°C by midnight most nights.
This heatwave is poised to last for the rest of the month, and possibly beyond into the month of August.
