Looking at what's to come, weather forecasters have said that Edinburgh will see highs of 25C today (July 10) and tomorrow with the Met Office warning people that the UV index is to remain high. They have also issued a warning about pollen levels which are also on the rise, currently sitting in their 'very high' red category.

The rest of the week is to remain the same with highs still soaring above 20C. The predictions are that Tuesday (July 12) will see temperatures reach 20C before falling to its teens.

After this, temperatures will still remain high and in the double figures however much of the week is set to remain cloudy with a few sunny intervals here and there. But no rain is set for the rest of the week which is only a positive.
