Thursday looks to be a bit of an unpredictable one in Edinburgh in terms of weather.
Sunshine, clouds, and rain are all expected in the capital at different point of the day, so it's a good idea to check ahead if you're planning on heading out.
According to the Met Office, it will be a "dry morning with sunny spells at first then becoming cloudy".

After that, the city will be hit by light rain showers at around 1pm which will then become "more persistent" heading into the afternoon.
Around this time, however, there is also set to be brief bursts of sunshine.
Temperatures are expected to reach 13 degrees Celsius in the early afternoon, where they will remain for much of the day, before tapering off at about 8pm.
The rain, which will be "heavy for quite a time", looks to peak in intensity at around 5pm, with an 80% chance of precipitation according to the weather service.
Things will slowly dry off after this, with the rain turning lighter from 6pm to 8pm - after which it looks to be a dry night.
After around 9pm, skies in Edinburgh are predicted to clear up too, which could potentially be a sign of good weather to come on Friday.
