Edinburgh Vegan Festival coming to Leith with chocolate, cakes, cheese and more

Leithers are set to be treated to a whole host of dairy-free goodies and much more for one day only.

If all goes to plan, Edinburgh Vegan Festival is set to take place on Sunday 22 November at Out of the Blue Drill Hall on Dalmeny Street.

Whether you're a dedicated vegan or just want to try some delicious food, you will not be dissapointed.

Previously taking place at Murrayfield rugby grounds, the festival brings together the best in the business to promote a lifestyle that supports "a more ethical way of living".

Anyone is welcome to come along, with food tastings and plenty of stalls selling chocolate, cheese, cakes, takeaway food and more.

In the past, vegan vendors turned out from across the capital with everything from baked goods to fake meats.

Festival-goers can even grab chat with animal sanctuaries and browse ethical clothing brands.

There will also be talks and demos on from inspiring people and businesses.

It costs £3 on the door for adults and £1 for children but under 5's and carers go free.
