Approaching the busy roundabout from Musselburgh on their way to join the city bypass, the car alongside a number of others were stopped as the white van cut lanes.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live, he said: "The white van was behind the white car, but then pulled around them almost like a police car would, then he hopped out of the van and started shouting."

Although still unclear what the dispute was about, the driver was seen leaving his engine running at the red light as he jumped out of the van and began screaming at the driver of the car behind.

After making a series of gestures, the van driver was seen to eventually head back towards his van with the intention of heading off.

The Edinburgh clip has now gone viral on TikTok, with over 300,000 views in just over 24 hours.

Commenting on the post, one user replied: "Always those folk that cut in and think they own the road!"

Another joked: "Oh god, never mess with a white van man."
