Police have launched an appeal for information after a woman was sexually assaulted on an Edinburgh bound train.
The man, who was on a train between Glasgow Queen Street Station and Haymarket on January 13. Between 4.15pm and 5pm, he sat beside a female passenger and repeatedly touched her leg with his leg.
He then continued to put his hand underneath his newspaper and touched the victim's leg with his hand. She then tried to move towards the window, though he moved himself over.

She moved seats at Linlithgow, and got off the train at Haymarket. The main remained on the train.
British Transport Police are now looking for information of the incident, and have released a description of the man. He’s described as Asian, tall and of a medium build with dark hair.
He was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans and he was carrying a newspaper. Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016 – with reference 2300004611.
