A man is believed to have boarded the train at 8.32pm and a woman on board then noticed he was staring and waving at her.

The man is then understood to have sat next to the woman before making sexual remarks towards her and then shockingly sexually assaulting her.

The man is described as a black male of medium build, around 6ft tall, and with a scar above his eyebrow. He was wearing a navy Moncler jacket, black jeans and blue and white trainers.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to assist their enquiries.
