The debate over the proposed airport drop-off fee shows no sign of dying off after Edinburgh Airport's managing director Gordon Dewar issued an open letter, reported in the Evening News, addressed "to all passengers, Edinburgh businesses, community groups and politicians" - setting out the case for customers to make a "modest contribution" in return for tens of millions of pounds of investment.
