Edinburgh today: social media clinic, NEN comeback and EIFF reactions

Good morning Edinburgh!

I can say with some certainty that some of you will be starting the day with sore feet. Talk Porty snapped some of Sunday's Edinburgh Marathon runners as they hit the promenade.

There will be a social media clinic at this evening's Granny Green's Big Night Out from 6pm in Fredericks Coffee House.

A meeting will be held on 14 June to discuss re-establishing the North Edinburgh News, according to this Facebook event page.

Edinburgh's Ruth Dawkins wrote for The Guardian's family section over the weekend. Read her thoughts on living for the moment here. She also wrote this piece on her own blog recently about the future of locals news in Edinburgh.
