Edinburgh to host Dachshund meet up where locals can chill surrounded by puppies

A new event is coming to Edinburgh which might be every dog-lovers dream.

Created by the 'Pup Up Cafe', the gathering is set to see Miniature Dachshund owners and admirers meet up for a spectacular afternoon of fun.

Taking their tour round the UK, the pop-up will be arriving in the capital on November 21, and will allow locals to be surrounded by the little-pups as they relax and socialise.

Located at the Old Dr Bells’ Baths on Great Junction Street, the dogs will be allowed to roam free and enjoy themselves, with over 150 set to turn up at the party over the course of the day.

As well as mingling with other owners and their dogs, there will be dog treats and puppacinos on offer, with a number of competitions also being run by organisers.

An in-house photographer will also be snapping up some pictures of the day, while the dogs can also take part in a miniature assault course.

Starting at 10am, the event costs £9 each for every dog owner attending, and £12 for anyone without a dog who wants to head along.
