Edinburgh thrill-seeker scales Forth Road Bridge as angry onlookers shout at him

An astonishing video shows a thrill-seeker scaling the Forth Road Bridge.

The avid adventurer, known as Jaimie Boy on social media, released the breath-taking footage on Sunday night, showing him on top of the 156 metre bridge.

The video is captioned: “I CLIMBED THE FORTH ROAD BRIDGE!! **VERY ILLEGAL**”

First Jamie carefully jumps over a tall spiked metal anti-climb fence to get closer to the structure.

He then begins to climb along the base of the bridge while still above land which leads up to the road level.

From this point the daredevil makes his way to the top of the bridge with no safety measures in place at all.

As he reaches the top of the bridge the Firth of the Forth can be seen glistening far below.

The panoramic views featuring the rustic Forth Rail Bridge and Queensferry Crossing from the top are absolutely stunning.

The thrill-seeker opens a gate to the top platform at the highest point and gets out his camera to capture the moment.

As Jamie descends and reaches ground level two workmen shout over but don’t seem overly fazed by the trespasser and just politely tell him to get down.

One workmen says, “You’re alright mate relax, we’re not here, we’re not going to do anything.”

While the other exclaims, “What are you playing at?”

Social media users were in awe at the shocking clip.

S D said: “They were dead on too at the end. Cracking vid mate!”

Colin Miller asked: “Great video, but why were you wearing a high vis jacket?”

To which Jaimie joked: “To buy me a little time boss.”

While Steven Berry added: “Great video pal I think you should climb the Clackmannanshire pylons.”

This is not the first colossal structure the Scot has taken on just last year he scaled one of the giant cranes on the St James Quarter construction site whilst it was being built.
