Pictures of the Three Sisters pub in Edinburgh have shown it looking unrecognisable as it goes through the process of a huge new makeover.
The Cowgate watering hole is due to celebrate its 23rd birthday this month, and will soon reopen indoors with a very new look.
Images snapped from inside the pub have shown the beginning of the transformation as seating, bars and tables are ripped out to make way for a new interior.
Trades have been working hard in recent weeks to bring the staple pub back to life to give a "more desirable" feel, and will showcase the old brickwork from the original build.
Both the main bar and the stage area are being renovated, with plans initially dating that the main bar will reopen to customers on June 17.
The stage area is then set to be unveiled in July, with live entertainment planned for a huge relaunch of the pub if the current restrictions allow.
It has been stated that the new interior will have a very different new look, with hopes for both Edinburgh locals and visitors to flock to the bar for a summer that could be back to normality.
Currently, the outdoor beer garden is still open for business, with hundreds flocking to the bar for drinks as restrictions ease across Scotland.
With level two restrictions to come into force on Monday (May 17), the Three Sisters beer garden will be able to welcome groups of up to eight people from eight different households.
The pub is one of a few across the city that have been able to stay open until 1am on weekends due to a licensing agreement in line with the current coronavirus rules.
