Edinburgh taxi driver fumes after being targeted by prank at petrol station

An Edinburgh taxi driver was seen getting a little frustrated in a hilarious clip posted online this week after he was subject to a petrol station prank.

After driving into the BP garage on Calder Road to fill up his tank, the man is seen to become increasingly annoyed after every pump he drives to is said to be "out of use".

However, the voice alerting the taxi to the 'out of use' pumps is not actually a staff member at the petrol station, but rather a prankster hiding in the bushes behind him.

Armed with a megaphone, TikTok user @ayrshirevanman films the funny video as he watches the taxi drive round to each pump, waits for the driver to get out and repeats the same message that the machine is "out of action".

Despite initially falling for the prank, the driver can be seen to become a bit suspicious when the prankster starts to giggle over the megaphone.

After posting the clip online it quickly went viral on the video app, gaining over 40,000 views and 1,500 likes in under 24 hours as viewers got a laugh out of the harmless joke.

Sharing their enjoyment, one user commented: "Absolutely brilliant! Can't stop laughing."

Another replied: "I haven't laughed this much in a long time, absolutely brilliant mate."
