The moment a huge brawl broke out at a takeaway in Leith has been captured on camera.
In the shocking footage, a group of locals can be seen getting into a heated altercation outside Papa Jaffer's Ephesus eatery on Great Junction Street, at around 10.40 pm on August 4.
A fight soon breaks out, with participants seen brandishing weapons including what appears to be a walking stick.
In the violent video, a female appears to stomp someone to the ground, before takeaway staff try to remove her from the premises.
An eyewitness told Edinburgh Live how a group - which included a young child - appeared to show up at the takeaway in order to ‘target’ a woman who was inside.

The Leith local said: “Three already rowdy customers at the Papa Jaffers take away, were targeted and attacked by a woman who knew who they were.
“Pulled up in a car, the woman in the grey tracksuit was screaming at the other female and attacked her with a blunt object before continuing the attack inside the shop. A child also got out of the car and and joined in with the attack.
“The disabled man’s crutch was also taken and used as a weapon. There were no police involved afterwards which suggests that Papa Jaffers did not report the incident.
“This restaurant is a night time trouble spot, attracting antisocial behaviour on a very regular basis.”
