Edinburgh Summer Sessions 2021: Anne-Marie, HRVY and Gracey added to lineup

Singer-songwriter Anne-Marie has been added to the lineup for the Edinburgh Summer Sessions 2021.

The chart-topper will join the likes of Simple Minds, Tom Jones, Travis, Michael Kiwanuka and DMA'S when the huge event returns to Princes Street Gardens in August.

Anne-Marie is regarded as one of the biggest names in UK music right now. Her debut album reached number three in the charts, while hit singles 2002 and FRIENDS have been hugely successful. She also recently appeared as a coach on The Voice UK.

HRVY, Gravey and Call Me Loop have also been added to the bill this morning, with tickets for the festival to go on general sale on Friday, April 2 at 9am.

Call Me Loop saw her first ever release ‘Looking at You’ receive more than 100,000 streams on Spotify in the first 24 hours of release. Fans can catch her making her first Summer Sessions appearance as she opens the show on Thursday August 12.

Also making her debut, singer-songwriter Gracey has written for the likes of global stars Kylie Minogue, Olly Murs and Rita Ora, and featured on 220 Kid’s hit song ‘Don’t Need Love’ in 2019.

YouTuber and singer, HRVY has worked with artists like Becky Hill and Noah Cyrus. He is set to release new music later this year, perfect timing for his debut at Edinburgh Summer Sessions.

The full-line up and dates for the Summer Sessions is as follows:

  • DMA'S plus support - Friday, August 6
  • Tom Jones plus support (SOLD OUT) - Sunday, August 8
  • Michael Kiwanuka plus support - Monday, August 9
  • Tom Jones plus support - Tuesday, August 10
  • Anne Marie plus support - Thursday, August 12
  • Travis plus support - Friday, August 13
  • Simple Minds plus support - Sunday, August 15

Lionel Richie has been forced to reschedule his 2021 dates but he will perform at the Summer Sessions in 2022.

Event organisers say they will follow any government and local council guidance which may be in place at the time of the event to ensure the safety of all festival goers, artists and staff.
