Organised by the Edinburgh University Students Association, the light switch on will include a range of music and festive delights.

The historic building in Bristo Square is expected to be covered in twinkling lights.

Visitors can enjoy live music from Clanadonia, Edinburgh University Brass Band and a special guest appearance by Santa and his elves.

They even also boast of an interactive photo booth, free Santa hats and candy canes when you purchase one of their Winter Warmer drinks and tasty treats for you to enjoy.

Mulled wine, spiced rum, non-alcoholic drinks will be served along with crêpes, bratwursts.

A giant snow globe will also sit in the Winter Gardens of the pub while fake snow will make guests feel like they've just walked into a winter wonderland.

The best thing about it as that the event is free and you can book your place here.

The light switch on at Teviot Row takes place on Friday November 12 from 6pm-9pm.
