New Edinburgh gin bar The Botanist set to open with cocktails and 'hanging kebabs'

The Edinburgh St James Quarter have announced their latest addition which will get gin lovers jumping for joy.

Set to arrive later this year, The Botanist have confirmed they will be opening their doors in the capital, as they launch their first ever venue in Scotland.

Renowned for their lavish botanical themed interiors, world-famous quirky cocktails and signature hanging kebabs, The Botanist has said they will "bring an immersive new experience to Edinburgh."

Located in the newSt Andrew’s Hall overlooking Leith Walk, the bar and restaurant will be joining an already exciting array of eateries and bars in the St James Quarter.

With an official opening date still to be confirmed, The Botanist have also announced a number of job opportunities will soon become available as they hunt for staff.

Nick Peek, Managing Director at St James Quarter, commented: “Spring has officially sprung here at St James Quarter as we welcome The Botanist to the family. With botanical themed interiors and refreshing cocktails, our customers are going to feel like they have been transported to an idyllic holiday destination.

St James Quarter has gone from strength to strength since opening in June 2021, and offers an impressive and growing list of names at the retail led destination, which includes & Other Stories, Mango, Zara, REISS, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Miele, Next, H&M, JD Sports, John Lewis and many more.
