Edinburgh St James Quarter gets popular burger bar El Perro Negro

Award-winning burger bar El Perro Negro opens their first Edinburgh location in Bonnie and Wild open from today in the St James Quarter.

The top team behind the popular burger bar have opened their third Scottish location inside Bonnie and Wild which is open from today.

The eatery is joining an elite line-up in the food market place that celebrates Scottish cuisine located on the fourth floor of the St James Quarter.

The diner teased social media users in the capital on their new account for the capital branch with a mouth watering image blown up across nine images captioned: "Edinburgh are you ready?"

El Perro Negro beat 14 competitors to win best burger at the National Burger Awards 2021 for their Top Dog burger.

Edinburgh diners will be able to get a taste of the juicy signature burger with indulgent combinations such as bone marrow butter and Roquefort sauce.

El Perro Negro opened their first permanent space in Finnieston back in 2019 and won ‘UK Burger of the Year’ for the infamous Top Dog at the National Burger Awards in their first year.

They are known for their bold combinations and limited edition burgers throughout the year including their Festive Burger and South Indian Fish Sandwich.

The restaurant is open from today and customers can visit at Bonnie & Wild, located in St James Centre, Edinburgh 7 days a week.
