BBC Weather has forecast snow for Christmas Day in Edinburgh.
Okay - it might not be the heaviest - but from 8am on Christmas morning Edinburgh is set to have 'light snow showers and a moderate breeze'.
The snowy showers are set to continue throughout the day the whole way until midnight - and with no rain forecast we're keeping our fingers crossed that the white stuff settles for a truly magical Christmas feel.
Despite being forecast temperatures of 0C to 3C throughout Christmas Day, Edinburgh's chill is going to feel more like -2C on the 25th says BBC Weather.

The cold conditions are set to continue into Boxing Day according to the long range forecast, with BBC Weather predicting 'light cloud and a gentle breeze'.
However, the snow is set to begin all over again at 7pm on Boxing Day as temperatures continue to feel sub-zero in the capital.
The BBC's weather predictions for Hogmanay are yet to be released, but they have advised that the situation of the 30th of December is 'sleet showers and a gentle breeze', so if things dry up we may get to experience a snowy New Year's Eve as well.
