Edinburgh set for spring makers market with homeware, stationery and jewellery

A contemporary market is coming to Edinburgh’s city centre, with a variety of creatives selling their wares.

The Spring Makers Market is set to be held at the Fruitmarket Gallery on May 14, kicking off at 10am. They’ll be showcasing both established and emerging talent from across the UK.

Shoppers will get the chance to pick up jewellery, print, pottery, textiles, stationery and homeware. Organisers have said it’s a chance to shop independent, and enjoy a ‘wonderful atmosphere’.

Ahead of the event, Fruitmarket said: “Join us on Sunday 14th May for a vibrant curation of makers stalls.

“We’ll be showcasing both established and emerging talent from across the UK, at the inspiring Fruitmarket ,home to free exhibits and a gorgeous Bookshop. Enjoy a wonderful atmosphere, getting to meet the makers behind the work and shop from independent business’.

“The Market will include t extiles, jewellery, print, pottery, stationary and homeware.”
