Edinburgh Sainsbury’s reopens after flooding caused the store to close to customers

An Edinburgh shopping centre has reopened after it closed due to flooding.

Sainsbury’s in Cameron Toll was closed for much of Monday to flooding caused by a leak.

Half of the staff were sent home and security and Sainsbury’s staff were sending customers away on the door.

A source confirmed an engineer was coming to check out the problem at 7:00pm on Monday evening.

The large store in Cameron Toll has reopened.

The popular supermarket is usually open until 10pm.

Sainsbury’s have been contacted for comment.
