Edinburgh is set to have two new buildings which will hold 48 apartments and a new commercial unit.
CDA Architects have filed for permission for the ambitious new plans, which would see the apartment complexes erected on Edinburgh's Willowbrae Road.
If approved, the cities Northfield district near Holyrood park will see a mixture of one to three-bedroom home s built by Evantyr Properties and MNM Developments.

In a statement, the practice wrote: "Surface car parking is provided at lower ground floor level, three of which are undercroft.
"Two accessible parking bays are located near the site entrance.
"This walled development provides a mix of private gardens, shared communal gardens, private balconies and roof terraces to provide the residents with good quality amenity space."
