There's expected to be some sunshine in Edinburgh today – and no we're not kidding you on.
After what seems like weeks of dark clouds, rain and wind , things actually don't look too bad today.
It's looking like the sun should be out for much of the morning, and while there might be some cloud, rain isn't expected to arrive (touch wood).
Some cloud is likely to move in throughout the afternoon, and there might be a little bit of rain around 4pm, but it shouldn't be anything too dramatic.
The sunshine is then forecast to return – leaving us with a cracking Friday night.
Film Fest in the City, the free outdoor film event, takes place on Friday and the weekend in St Andrews Square so things are looking good for this.
The Met Office reckon temperatures should be around 13 or 14 degrees for much of the day – not bad if you ask us.
