We don't know why the dreaded rain clouds have finally decided to clear but let's make the most of it.
After a bright day yesterday, Edinburgh is set for another sunny day with glorious highs of 17C.
Okay, so its not taps aff weather but at least it's not pouring - and you might actually get the chance to wear those brand new summer sandals.
During the morning commute you can expect temperatures of around 11 degrees. Later in the evening temperatures will drop to around 13C.
While the sun is out, there will be a breeze kicking about today - but (and we can't emphasise this enough) no rain!
And it seems that the capital is about to hit a good run, with the weather looking like it will stay sunny until Saturday.
