Edinburgh's weather on Tuesday: Plenty of sunshine with temperatures peaking in the afternoon

Edinburgh's set for a terrific Tuesday according to weather experts.

The city is forecast to bask in sunshine and highs of 19C for large chunks of the day.

There should be bright skies to kick things off early on along with temperatures in the mid-teens for much of the monring. Some cloud could start to appear in the early afternoon, but we should still be able to enjoy plenty of sun as temperatures peak at 19C.

Those at the Met Office say cloud is expected from 2pm or 3pm but temperatures should remain warm, and in the high teens, throughout the rest of the day.
