Edinburgh's set for a little bit of everything weather-wise on Thursday with sunshine, showers and warm temperatures expected.
Things should start off nicely with some cloud but also plenty of sunshine in the morning morning, and temperatures of around 16C or 17C.
However the rain is expected to come on around midday before heavy showers an hour later. The wet weather is likely to continue for most of the afternoon according to the Met Office – although it should be around 18C for the most part.
Forecasters reckon things could clear up around 6pm for another spell of sunshine before, you guessed it, the rain returns for a short while a couple of hours later.
It doesn't get much more 'Scottish summer' than that.
