It's going to be cloudy, cold and raining in Edinburgh on Friday with a day of miserable weather forecast.
Experts at the Met Office reckon we're in for a bleak end to the week with temperatures around 5C or 6C for large parts – much cooler than we've been experiencing.
It's likely to stay dry early on, but expect plenty of grey cloud and very little sunshine breaking through. The rain is then set to arrive in the late afternoon, and as we approach 5pm, before continuing for much of the night. It could dry up around 9pm but it's still going to be dark and cold at that point, so you'll not be wanting to go outside anyway.
