Edinburgh's set for a post-Halloween horror show on the weather front on Friday.
Forecasters at the Met Office reckon we should be expecting dark clouds and heavy rain – pretty much all day. The rain should be at its heaviest in the mid-afternoon but we wouldn't suggest going outside at all, to be honest. The wet weather might stop for a bit around 7pm, but then again we're possibly just being optimistic.
It's likely to be around 7C or 8C for the most part, so not the coldest we've ever felt, but still not great.
All in all, it's going to be a dismal end to the week – and the weekend doesn't look much better.
