Edinburgh's Jupiter Artland has reopened - here's everything you need to know

Now that we're able to head outdoors thanks to yesterday's easing of lockdown restrictions, you may find yourself looking for some green space to explore.

Well good news for Edinburgh locals - Jupiter Artland is reopening this weekend!

Following Nicola Sturgeon 's new guidelines on outdoor leisure the popular sculpture park is able to welcome back keen visitors.

However, there are some rules as to who can visit and when.

The park is open to 'Friends of Jupiter' only - people who have a membership.

For phase one of releasing of lockdown and for your safety they have implemented a new ONLINE ONLY timeslot booking system to welcome as many of you in a safe and orderly manner.

Please do not go to Jupiter Artland without a reserved timeslot - additional family members can be booked online.

Jupiter Artland said in a post on Facebook on Thursday:

"We are throwing our doors open tomorrow - we can't wait to see you!

"Please bear with us if some things are still being tamed from nature as the landscapes' enjoyed it's rest!

"Your safety and that of our staff is at the heart of everything we do."
