Edinburgh's Holyrood Distillery announces summer lineup with cocktails and street food

Edinburgh’s Holyrood Distillery have announced they will be hosting a line up of street food, guided city tours and cocktails over the Summer.

The slew of summer events will be starting from June 30 and will extend all the way to the middle of August. It will feature a long line up of Edinburgh street food vendors and an exclusive summer cocktail menu.

The involved food vendors will include Latin American food from Taqueria Don Güero, food truck Lemon Squeezy, slow cooked and smoked meats from Stag Bites the Hog and Vietnamese sandwiches from the Bánh Mì Brothers.

As well as a selection of street foods, the distillery will also offer an exclusive cocktail menu. Featuring a Holyrood Distillery White Sangria and the ‘Elvis Lives' made with Height of Arrows Gin, Campari and Schoefferhofer beer.

To account for the inconsistent weather in Edinburgh, the distillery will also put up a marquee with festoon lighting and outdoor heaters when the weather fails to live up to expectations. As well as running tasting events in their indoor bar at the distillery itself.

Holyrood Distillery’s Event Manager, Holly Aynsley, said:

“We’re really excited to be celebrating summer and Festival season in the city by launching our new rolling programme of street food and cocktail events in our ‘Courtyard’ from June until the end of August, as well as our new ‘Charmed Circle Brewery and Distillery Walking Tours’.

“Some of the best street food vendors in Scotland will be serving up an eclectic mix of Mexican cuisine to Vietnamese sandwiches and quality slow cooked and smoked meats every day throughout the summer, each complementing our exclusive cocktail menu perfectly. As well as our alfresco events, we’ll be hosting a series of indoor tasting sessions in our bar and a self-guided Hauf and Hauf tasting.

“For those looking for a bit more adventure, our guided walking tours are perfect for people looking to explore Edinburgh on foot, whilst discovering more about the city’s brewing and distilling history.”
