The early weather forecast for Edinburgh's Hogmanay makes good reading for those planning to bring in the bells at the famous Street Party.
Crucially, things are expected to be dry with less than five per cent chance of rain on Tuesday evening.
Experts at the Met Office reckon it's going to be sunny throughout much of the day, with temperatures around 3C or 4C for the most part – so still quite chilly.
As the night goes on temperatures could drop slightly, but not too much with 2C or 3C expected around midnight.
Winds should pick up as the day goes on and there's a chance of gusts up to 15mph in the evening.
It's certainly worth wrapping up warm (as if you needed us to tell you that) but at least it should stay dry – and that's the main thing, right?
