Edinburgh’s historic Myreside Pavilion is being rebuilt after it was gutted by a fire last year.
The building is owned by George Watson’s College and after the blaze in February last year they moved quickly to restore the building.
The school said at the time this had caused them “significant” problems, with the sport facility being integral to their curriculum.
They said despite having no access for a while they were assessing the damage with insurers and would be repairing all damage.
A Just Giving appeal managed to raise a whopping £613,345 by July of this year and now they say they are ready to open soon.
A spokesperson for the Edinburgh school explained more on the online page.
They said: Thanks to the overwhelming support of more than 600 donors, together we smashed the target and raised over £613,000!

"An amazing result which has allowed us to enhance and reimagine our beloved Myreside Pavilion, securing its place at the heart of our community for generations to come.
"This was only possible with the help of many and we will acknowledge our generous supporters on the Donor Wall in the refurbished Pavilion when it opens this autumn."
A report prepared ahead of a meeting by the City of Edinburgh Council’s licensing committee on Monday November 29 shows that the council granted permission for a new licensed area outdoors in the new look pavilion.
Attending the meeting were board members: Councillors Norman Work, Lezley Marion Cameron, Gillian Gloyer, Callum Laidlaw, Joanna Mowat, Iain Whyte and Sergeant Marc Copland of Police Scotland also attended proceedings.
The restructuring works will see an additional licensed outside area within the pavilion that will open until 10pm, in line with similar establishments during the Covid-19 pandemic.
