Edinburgh’s biggest wedding event and fashion show returns this weekend

Edinburgh’s Big Big Wedding Fair and Fashion show is back and better than ever this weekend.

For the first time since the pandemic, the full array of wedding fashion, accessories and vendors for the big day will be on offer at the Edinburgh O2 Academy on Saturday and Sunday.

“With over 130 specially selected exhibitors, the Edinburgh Wedding Fair offers you everything you need to plan the perfect wedding,” the event stated.

“Stunning dresses, creative cakes, fabulous flowers plus, of course, stationery, jewellery and much much more.”

The event has become the largest wedding event in the East of Scotland, and the event claims it offers everything needed to plan the perfect wedding.

“It doesn’t end there,” the Fair boasted. “During the show, many of the exhibitors offer great value discounts. You don’t only get inspired but you also strike a bargain.”

The professional fashion show will run three times per day, and models will showcase bridal wear, groom’s wear, in addition to hair and makeup, flowers, mother of the bride fashion, and the latest outfits for groom’s men.

“Pop along and enjoy a day out with your wedding party,” the event said.

“We have over 100 exhibitors attending, a professional fashion show running three times per day, a flower and linen display room, casinos, competitions, cafe, gin & prosecco bar and much much more.”

The fashion show times are 11.45am, 2.00pm and 3.30pm on both days and seating is unreserved.

The two day event was postponed from March, and tickets from the postponed date are still valid for entry this weekend.

The Big Big Wedding Fair will be at the O2 Academy in Edinburgh this Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4.20pm

General admission tickets are £6.75 each. Under 16s can attend free of charge. Tickets are available on the Big Big Wedding Fair website here.
